Public Clarification Regarding the Amit Bhardwaj Bitcoin Matter
In light of public interest and certain references made in connection with the ongoing Bitcoin-related proceedings involving Mr. Amit Bhardwaj, Rejesh Satiija considers it appropriate to place the following facts on the public record.
Rejesh Satiija has never been involved in Bitcoin, cryptocurrency trading, cryptocurrency investments, or any Bitcoin-related business or venture. He has no connection whatsoever with any alleged Bitcoin fraud, cryptocurrency scam, or any activities that are the subject matter of the ongoing investigations or legal proceedings.
The only interaction between Rejesh Satiija and Mr. Amit Bhardwaj arose in 2016, when discussions were held regarding a proposed commercial transaction involving certain gold mining interests. These discussions were undertaken solely for legitimate business purposes and were entirely unrelated to Bitcoin, cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, or any digital asset business.
The proposed transaction did not materialize and was mutually cancelled in 2017. Following the cancellation, all discussions and commercial engagements between the parties came to an end. Since then, Rejesh Satiija has had no business, financial, professional, or personal association with Mr. Amit Bhardwaj.
Rejesh Satiija further clarifies that he has never met, spoken with, conducted business with, or otherwise had any personal or professional relationship with Mr. Raj Kundra. Any suggestion that he has any association with Mr. Kundra is entirely incorrect.
For the avoidance of doubt, Rejesh Satiija has no involvement whatsoever in any Bitcoin business, cryptocurrency enterprise, or any alleged Bitcoin-related scam. He has never knowingly participated in, facilitated, benefited from, or been associated with any such activities. His only interaction with Mr. Amit Bhardwaj was the proposed commercial transaction referred to above, which was abandoned and cancelled in 2017 and was wholly unrelated to Bitcoin or cryptocurrency in any form.
Rejesh Satiija respects the rule of law and believes that facts should be determined through the due process of law rather than by speculation or public conjecture. He remains fully confident that the factual record clearly demonstrates his complete lack of involvement in the matters presently under investigation.
